Sound Design
Sounds that can't simply be recorded, built by layering and reshaping real recordings or creating them from scratch through synthesis. Signature effects, textures and atmospheres designed for the story.
SFX Editing
Choosing, recording and cutting effects to picture, covering both hard effects and backgrounds.
Dialogue Editing
Dialogue cleaned, edited and matched so every line sounds clear and consistent. For podcasts, tight edits that keep the conversation sounding natural.
Foley
Everyday sounds performed live to picture, recorded and cut in sync to ground every scene in realism.
Mixing

§ 03 / Approach
A little about me.
Hey, I’m George. Here’s a bit of background, to put a person behind the website you’ve landed on!
I’m a London-based freelance audio post specialist working across film, TV and podcasts. My disciplines cover sound design, SFX editing, Foley, dialogue editing and mixing.
I came to audio post from music production, where I built up a mixing and mastering service. That gave me a clinical ear for detail, balance and consistency, shaping how I approach sound for picture today. I trained at 344 Audio in Manchester, learning industry-standard techniques inside a working post house, and afterwards contributed sound design to a live game project there.
I take real pride in my work. Sonically, I hold it to a high standard of precision. Emotionally, I shape the sound around the story’s highs and lows. I don’t just focus on what’s visible on screen: I listen for the story underneath, and use sound that isn’t literal to the image to bring it out.
I’ve recently moved to London, leaving a stable career behind to do this full time. I’m all in on the craft, and excited to get stuck into new projects. If you’d like to bring me on board, or just have a chat to see if I’m the right fit, please get in touch :)
